I am Barbara Alcalde, the founder of Spainable.
I have lived in The Hague, The Netherlands since 2010 when I moved from Spain to build a career. I am Spanish and Spain is where I have lived most of my life.
Being away from home for so long has made me appreciate the wonders of Spain. I personally miss the sun (almost every day around the year!) and the light. Winters in the northern european countries are dark and long (and very rainy in the Netherlands) so I always look forward to my getaways to Spain.
For the last few years I have spent most of my time searching for Real Estate, this is my true passion. Overtime I became quite good at spotting great opportunities and I have made many good contacts in the Real Estate community in Spain. Of course, Spanish is my mother tongue so nothing will get lost in translation with me!
